Equine Obituary – Metro Grand

The Walking Horse Report has recently learned of the passing of Metro Grand, who was humanely laid to rest on July 8th due to medical complications. Metro was more than just a horse to Owner Wayne Hall—he was a loyal companion, and he will be missed. Though his time here has ended, the bond they shared will remain with Hall forever.

The Horse Protection Act (HPA) was passed in 1970 to eliminate the practice of “soring,” which involves intentionally causing pain to a horse’s feet or legs to exaggerate its gait.
