Obituary – Frank McWhorter

Frank “Kentucky Gambler” McWhorter, age 72 of Gallatin, Tennessee, passed away August 31, 2020. Frank was born September 20, 1947 in Albany, Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Margie Bell McWhorter; son, Shane McWhorter and grandson, Keith Patton. He is survived by his devoted wife of 43 years, Marsha McWhorter; sons, Donnie Patton, Rusty Patton and Mike Patton; grandchildren, Chad Patton, Cody Patton, Shawn Patton, Mitch Patton, Trent Patton and Kobe McWhorter; brother, Jim McWhorter; sister, Sara McWhorter; great grandchildren, Landynn Patton, Kadence Patton and Benjamin Patton; several nieces and nephews.
Frank was owner and operator of B & M Trucking since 1994. He was a member of Gallatin Country Club, was an avid golfer, enjoyed Tennessee Walking Horses, loved trucking and RVing.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 4th from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Pastor Joey Harrington and Charlie Caplinger officiating. Interment will follow in Sumner Memorial Gardens with Chad Patton, Cody Patton, Shawn Patton, Trent Patton, Todd Mostrong and Kobe McWhorter serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of B & M Trucking, Mitch Patton, Bob Ingrum, Jason Allen and Eddie Woods. Visitation will be Thursday, September 3rd from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and Friday, September 4th from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
