Obituary – Kenneth Callicutt

On Wednesday, January 8, 2020 with his family by his side, Kenneth Landon Callicutt went home to be with the Lord.
Kenneth was born in Moore County on November 13, 1938 to June Lendon Callicutt and Delsia Williams Callicutt. He attended Seagrove United Methodist Church. Kenneth was the proprietor of Seagrove Grocery and Callicutt Stables in Seagrove and was a long-time member of the North Carolina Tennessee Walking Horse Association. He was a member and past president of the Seagrove Lions Club.
He is survived by his wife, Pat Farlow Callicutt of Seagrove; one son, John Landon Callicutt and wife Ann of Seagrove; two grandsons, Landon Ross Callicutt and Luke Andrew Callicutt both of Seagrove; sisters, Billie Wilson and husband Vernon of Asheboro, Lee Abbott and husband Michael of Charlotte, Ruby Perry of Sorrento, Florida, and Shirley Smith and husband Sidney of Asheboro; and brother, Gary Callicutt and wife Rosa of Asheboro.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his brothers, Harold Callicutt and Lloyd Callicutt; and sisters, Clara Swain and Janice Smith.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 10, 2020 at from 12:00-1:30 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. A Celebration of Life will follow on Friday at 2:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ed Carter officiating. Burial will be held in the Seagrove Christian Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Hospice of Randolph, P.O. Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204-0009 or a charity of the donor's choice.
