After the popularity of the “Pick Your Partner” class at last year’s United Fall Finale, the class will now be featured at five different shows this year as a fundraiser for the industry. The first classes of the year will be at this week’s WHTA National Trainers’ Show. The "Pick Your Partner" Pleasure class will be class 51 on Friday night and the Performance class will be class 70 on Saturday night. These classes are open to teams of youth, amateurs, and/or trainers. Any combination is acceptable. One team member will ride first way and their partner will ride second way. Entries are due by Noon each day and teams are encouraged to enter ASAP and then start soliciting sponsors (much like a walk-a-thon) to support them in the class. All online donations go directly to the Foundation for the Advancement & Support of the Tennessee Walking Show Horse (FAST).  A “Fan Favorite” award will be given for the team that raises the most money by the end of the class. As entries come in, teams will be added to the fundraising page at www.twhbea.com/partner.

In addition to the Trainers’ Show, these other shows will be hosting “Pick Your Partner” classes this year:
• May 23-25 – TWHNC Spring Fun Show (Celebration Arena, Shelbyville, TN)
• July 18-28 – International Grand Championships (Miller Coliseum, Murfreesboro, TN)
• October 3-5 – NC State Championships (Western NC Ag Center, Fletcher, NC)
• November 14-16 – United Fall Finale (Battle Arena, Tunica, MS)
