Charles Tooley, a long time horse enthusiast and trainer of Columbia, Kentucky has underwent multiple knee replacement surgeries and has battled many other health problems over the past year. He is being treated for MERSA and there are possibilities of amputating his leg if the antibiotics aren’t successful. Tooley is recovering from his most recent surgery at St. Joseph hospital in Lexington, Kentucky where they put in a plastic knee and once he recovers from the MERSA, he will then go back for another surgery for a metal knee.
